| The Off-Road Vehicle (ORV) Advisory Committee (ORVAC) will meet at the Big Cypress Swamp Welcome Center, 33000 Tamiami Trail East, Ochopee, FL 34141 from 3:30 to 8:00 p.m., on Tuesday, August 17th. Following the TRU trail implementation process, the NPS will begin work to designate trails within the Corn Dance Unit of the Preserve. The NPS will hold a public meeting on Wednesday, September 15, 2010 from 5:00 - 7:30 p.m. at the Oasis Visitor Center to accept input from the public relative to the conceptual trail map for that unit. It is important that individuals provide accurate location data for trails, intersections and destinations by providing GPS coordinates, track logs, waypoints or placemarks/paths in .kmz (Google Earth) format. |
