What: South Florida Water Management District Water Resources
Advisory Commission Monthly Meeting When: Thursday, February 7,

The 47-member Water Resources Advisory Commission serves as a
blue-ribbon advisory body to the South Florida Water Management
Governing Board, and as a forum for improving public
participation and decision-making in water resource issues
affecting South Florida.
Some of the topics to be discussed at Thursdayıs meeting include
Miami-Dade County's Flood Management Task Force Status Report,
Miami-Dade County's Reuse Program, Biscayne Bay Regional
Restoration Team, and the Miami River Commission activities

Water Resources Advisory Commission membership reflects a
balanced, cross-section representation of South Florida,
including members from the business community, water supply
utilities, public interest groups, agriculture and environmental
organizations, as well as federal, state, local and tribal
governments. District Governing Board member Michael Collins
serves as commission chairperson.
