BJ was raised in Wales Center, NY until at 14 years old her family moved to Dunedin, FL. As an adult BJ was an excellent server/ bartender because she loved people and she loved to laugh. BJ enjoyed adventures with family and friends fishing, camping, boating and seeing new places.

BJ will be greatly missed by her survivors, husband John Michael Herndon of Punta Gorda, FL, brother Jeffrey William ( Tina) Huntington of Mexico, Mo., stepson John Michael Herndon (Senayda Toledo), granddaughter Jenna Marin Herndon of Miami, beloved nephews Kyle and Zach Huntington, niece Brittney Moore, close friends Sandy Martini, Carol and Ken Simon, her pet racoon, Buddy and many people she referred to as her "kids".
